My Story
Lisa's mission is to give Mums/ladies a supportive environment alongside education about their bodies to reset and rebuild from the inside out.
Lisa is a Mum of 2 active teen boys and understands how strong both mentally and physically you have to be to be a mother. We naturally do all the things without taking a second thought about what we need.
Body Reset Fitness was born out of the awareness that some ladies do not feel comfortable in a gym environment, they are not sure where to start or they need to be in an environment whereby they feel welcomed, comfortable, safe, included and seen.
Lisa incorporates lifestyle factors, works alongside allied health professionals and has a network of support ready for her clients.
Lisa has built an amazing Community of ladies whose main aims are to feel strong, move more, be a support to each other, listen and motivate and have some laughs and fun along the way.
My Why....
At Body Reset Fitness we want you to start feeling amazing and learn the right tools to do that just! Lisa has been a keen gym goer since her early 20s. When Lisa's eldest son was diagnosed with numerous health conditions following a traumatic birth, no follow up care, and was struggling to just survive doctor appointment to the next for her son.
Along the way, with numerous doctors appointments, learning the impact of the ability to move through different movement patterns, stimulus and the like in relation to Cerebral Palsy to help her son. Shortly after his first birthday he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Lisa was also already working in the fitness industry from 2008 and cleaning houses, whilst the boys grew up helping a prenatal/postnatal fitness business in Administration/Management so she started working with Dietitians to learn all about how fueling your body both for mental and physical wellbeing, the impact it can have but on your work/life balance, your life values and goals!
In 2016 "Body Reset Fitness" was born - a place where the level of care stands out, nurturing environment, inclusion and acceptance in an environment whereby all ladies and mums can exercise and have some much needed "me" time. Learn to be strong both mentally and physically and be supported. Educate our clients that movement doesn't have to hurt, it doesn't look like it did in our 20s, movement doesn't have to burn calories, you can wear what you want and it can be done at home, outdoors or a small outdoor home studio that feels supportive from the first time you walk through the gate.

Ā Our signature course builds foundations in reseting and rebuilding YOU.Ā Our Mums & Bubs groups come together to join a Community of like-minded Mums who are wanting to rebuild their core, body and mind after baby, are starting their journey into fitness, or its been a long time with toddlers/school children since they last exercised.Ā You will learn the importance of core strength, breathing, learning what your body can do slowly, effectively and building each week.
