Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) Awareness Month
Jun 27, 2023June is Pelvic Organ Prolapse Awareness Month & I share this to let women know they are not alone, they do not have to suffer in silence & there is help from amazing health professionals.
This month I’ll be dropping some important information to you and for you to share with family & friends to spread awareness and create a wave of support for our women. It all starts here over on Instagram
Today, I want you to know a few things …..
πIt is important to understand, your Body is not broken.
πNo one else can see it, but you know it's there....and you do not have to go through it alone
πIt's time to start educating and empowering women so they can keep themselves safe during the entire journey of becoming and being mum.
Please reach out if you are not sure what to do or where to turn first.
If you experience symptoms described in any of our posts this month or after chatting with your GP- have a chat to your Womens health professional today because there are so many different treatment options available to help improve your symptoms and continue your personal and healthy activities on a daily basis.
Some may feel scary to read but together with your Women’s health physio and Trainer we support you in navigating it and YES you can still train with a PROLAPSE.
We recommend reaching out to @sydneywomensphysiotherapy for all women’s health & pelvic health through pathways prenatal and postnatal journey in the #hillsdistrict or to your local women’s health & pelvic health physio. You can find your local physio here
And if you are looking for a training around POP, yes you can with a #mumsafetrainer !
